Any communication which you post to any path, directory, extension subdirectory, sub-domain and/or any other portion of the Site or transmit to the Administrator or to the Site by e-mail or other medium can be used by the Administrator on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive license with the right to reproduce, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, and display the communication alone or as part of other works in any form, media, or technology whether now known or hereafter developed, and to sublicense such rights through multiple tiers of sublicenses.
Any communication which you post to any path, directory, extension subdirectory, sub-domain, comment form and/or any other portion of the Site, transmit to any user of this site, and/or transmit to the Administrator or to the Site by e-mail, comment and/or other medium which is deemed by the Administrator to be commercial in nature, appears robotically and/or automatically posted, AND/OR appears posted for the sole purpose increasing a third party domain's web site traffic, will automatically be assessed a $500 (US) per month fee for advertising, payable within thirty (30) days of user's communication. Failure to pay will result in the entity posting the communication having their account turned over to a collection agency of the Administrator's choosing.
You the User automatically agree to submit to a thorough bandwidth and/or security test any web site, server, IP address and/or domain name used as any part of any communication in which you post to any path, directory, extension subdirectory, sub-domain, comment form and/or any other portion of the Site, transmit to any user of this site, and/or transmit to the Administrator or to the Site by e-mail, comment and/or other medium which is deemed by the Administrator to be commercial in nature, appears robotically and/or automatically posted, AND/OR appears posted for the sole purpose increasing a third party domain's web site traffic.
As a user of the Site, you are responsible for your own communications and are responsible for the consequences of their posting. The Administrator may use the information it obtains relating to you, including your IP address, name, mailing address, e-mail address and use of the Site, for his internal business and marketing purposes.
Listen. All that being said, there's no truly and fully safe interactive / audience participation entertainment. You can get hurt on a ferris wheel or roller coaster or ice skating. Frankly, it's only a matter of time and circumstances before someone on stage will hurt themselves on stage like bumping their head or twisting an ankle. When a person volunteers to lend a hypnotist their imagination in hypnosis, they assume responsibility for the possibility of getting hurt.
Section 12. Potential Dangers of Hypnosis & Disclaimer:
FACT: Accidents happen, whether on stage or elsewhere. And as the colloquial phrase goes, 'Shit Happens.' Accept that reality. And know this - if you decide foolishly to sue us because of some real or perceived hurt, we shall bankrupt you defending ourselves relentlessly like a crazed pitbull refusing to let go of its target.
That said, the safety of hypnosis (and hypnotherapy) is (are) not well studied.
Hypnosis-therapy may worsen symptoms in people with psychiatric illnesses such as schizophrenia, manic depression, multiple personality disorder or dissociate disorders. Because limited data are available, hypnosis-therapy is sometimes discouraged in people at risk of seizures. Upsetting memories may surface in people with post-traumatic stress disorder. It has been suggested that some types of hypnosis-therapy lead to false memories (confabulation), although scientific research on this topic is limited. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee anyone experiencing stage hypnosis will not have an abreaction. An abreaction is defined as a physical movement or an emotional outburst as a reaction to a suggestion while in the state of hypnosis. Some hypnotic abreactions are spontaneous and others are created by the hypnotist. Hypnotic abreaction can be used to acquire greater depth, cause a revivification, or remove repressed emotions. In short, it is generally true that people do not typically accept, or act upon, suggestions that are inconsistent with their desires.
